About the Role

• Collect and analyze field data from surveys, plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and material samples. • Perform basic inspections of site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, and controls for compliance with applicable rules and permits. • Document geotechnical drilling, geosynthetic containment, leachate collection, stormwater controls, and infrastructure according to design specifications. • Verify construction quantities, change orders, and contract specifications, escalating discrepancies as needed. • Produce accurate inspection reports and adhere to client and regulatory policies. • Complete assigned training and follow WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies. • Work independently and collaboratively, maintaining attention to detail and adherence to safety policies.

What You Bring

• Hold a High School Diploma with 0‑2 years of experience and general awareness of construction and field inspection practices. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences. • Possess basic proficiency in technical writing, spreadsheets, and related tools. • Show flexibility to work extended hours, travel, or weekends as project demands dictate. • Preferred: Associate’s Degree in a related discipline and experience with surveying or design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
