About the Role
The role involves measuring and marking reference points to assist in layout, loading, stacking, and transporting raw materials and tools, as well as picking up and trucking scrap from work areas. The employee will assist the journeyman when forming large parts, perform shakeout and tagging of parts, operate a forklift, and help operators on press brake and other equipment. Mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, the ability to work independently or with others, and the capacity to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors while lifting up to 50 lb are required. • Measure and mark layout reference points. • Load, stack, and transport raw materials and tools. • Remove scrap from work areas. • Assist journeyman in forming large parts. • Perform shakeout and tag parts. • Operate forklift (preferred) and assist press‑brake operators. • Stand for long periods on concrete and lift up to 50 lb. • Participate in profit sharing/annual incentive bonus and premium 401(k) plan.
