About the Role
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents, including greeting, qualifying, touring, and signing leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover processes. • Track prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, improve closing ratios, and surpass leasing targets. • Address resident complaints, concerns, and service requests to ensure satisfaction. • Develop and execute resident retention initiatives such as events, promotions, and monthly newsletters. • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the office, common areas, and model unit. • Support the implementation of the annual marketing plan and outreach activities. • Conduct ongoing market surveys and analysis, producing weekly market reports. • Keep detailed product knowledge of the property, competitors, and market conditions. • Deliver superior customer service and monitor service‑request turnaround times. • Present a positive community image to achieve property objectives and public recognition. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, standing or sitting for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions and environments. • Work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and nights for emergencies.

The Leasing Consultant role focuses on leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property, with expectations to meet and exceed leasing goals while delivering excellent customer service. Compensation ranges from $19 to $24 per hour and includes a comprehensive total‑rewards package of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, commissions, performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays.
