About the Role
The Landscape Architecture Studio Lead will head the Boston Design Studio within AECOM’s Urbanism + Planning team, driving the growth of the urbanism practice across New England. This hybrid role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on design oversight. • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for Boston’s landscape architecture and urban design practice. • Translate AECOM’s vision to meet client and community needs in New England, championing design excellence. • Build and nurture client relationships to secure a portfolio of work aligned with growth objectives. • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration consistent with AECOM’s “think and act globally” philosophy. • Lead team‑building, talent development, retention, and recruiting initiatives.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will possess the required education, licensure and leadership experience, with a strong background in landscape architecture and urban design, and will bring deep knowledge of the New England market. • Hold a BA/BS in Landscape Architecture with at least 10 years of related experience (or equivalent). • Be a Licensed Landscape Architect with a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience. • Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license, pass AECOM’s motor vehicle records review, and be a U.S. citizen. • Preferred: 12+ years leading complex landscape architecture projects and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. • Preferred: Deep knowledge of the New England marketplace with national reach and experience with municipal, institutional, and transportation clients. • Preferred: Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth. • Preferred: Strong mentoring skills to train and develop staff.

AECOM offers comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, a compensation range of $175,000‑$240,000 annually, and an equal‑opportunity workplace.
