About the Role

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting, water features, and waste management. • Complete service requests and repairs per company standards promptly. • Prepare vacant apartments for rent and perform turnkey work as needed. • Conduct preventative maintenance for apartments. • Paint interior and exterior surfaces. • Maintain an incident‑free safety culture by following policies and reporting hazards. • Perform hot work (brazing, soldering, welding) according to standards.

The Maintenance Technician II position in Pflugerville, Texas, advances your maintenance career by handling a broad range of systems and ensuring timely repairs. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and keep vacant units rent‑ready while upholding safety standards. This role requires on‑call availability and strong communication with residents and team members. • 2–3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. • Valid driver's license. • Ability to rotate on‑call schedule monthly. • Strong communication skills for resident and associate customer service. • Ability to read and follow key policies and emergency procedures. • Knowledge of chemical safety, SDS, and proper handling of cleaning supplies. • Proficiency with personal protective equipment. • Basic understanding of emergency system shutoffs and operations. • Knowledge of paint types and application tools.
