About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports resident services by ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, and timely service delivery. This role is central to providing superior customer service to multifamily residents. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments through painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and minor repairs, as well as responding promptly to resident requests with a professional attitude. The technician must be skilled in plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal when applicable. They also maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe. On‑call scheduling may be required for after‑hour emergencies, and all maintenance concerns must be reported to the supervisor. • Prepare and turn over vacant apartments, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning, and minor repairs. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and snow removal as needed. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities in clean and safe condition. • Participate in on‑call rotations to address after‑hour emergencies. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units and common areas to the supervisor and follow scheduled tasks. • Adhere to fair housing laws, safety procedures, and company uniform standards.

What You Bring
The position requires a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or a local equivalent). Candidates must be able to read technical manuals, perform basic calculations, solve routine problems, and write reports while following all safety procedures. Applicants need at least a high school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational training, along with a minimum of one year of related experience. The role operates in a professional office environment with regular travel between properties, requiring the ability to stand, walk, ascend stairs or ladders, and lift up to 100 lb. Employees may be stationary for most of the time but must be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather conditions and up to 10 % travel. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Demonstrate ability to read technical manuals, perform basic calculations, and write routine reports. • Possess a high school diploma/GED or technical training with at least one year of related experience. • Work in a professional office setting, travel between properties, and lift up to 100 lb regularly.
