About the Role
Key accountabilities include monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components of CNC machines, cooling lubricant tanks, MTM washers, and related facility equipment. The technician will manage bulk nitrogen, transfer tanks, spare parts inventory, and documentation of malfunctions. Additional duties involve coordinating OEM service schedules, performing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), supporting equipment installation, and designing or fabricating components using manual machining tools. The role also encompasses maintenance of lifting devices, KVT guns, leak test units, fixtures, tooling, and CMM equipment, as well as overseeing process water in machining and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Safety compliance, clean work areas, and promoting the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct are required. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components of CNC machines and related equipment. • Maintain and service Knoll coolant tanks, MTM washers, lifting devices, KVT guns, leak test units, and CMM fixtures. • Manage bulk nitrogen supply, transfer tanks, and process water for machining operations. • Document malfunctions, spare‑part usage, and update controlled maintenance records. • Coordinate OEM service schedules, spare‑part ordering, and parts shipment. • Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and drive continuous improvement. • Design, modify, and fabricate components using manual machining tools. • Supervise spare‑parts inventory, stocking, and material management. • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct. • Provide training and coaching to junior technicians.

What You Bring
Basic requirements are an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance with five years of heavy‑duty machining maintenance experience, or an apprenticeship/completion program with seven years of experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be flexible to shift changes and occasional on‑call duties. Preferred qualifications include advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines, Siemens 840 DCNC programming, MTM parts washers, Knoll coolant systems, LTA filter systems, manual machining equipment, TPM principles, SAP, and OSHA safety regulations. Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and carpentry skills, along with intermediate interpersonal, organizational and communication abilities, are desired. Fluency in German and English and proficiency with PC and MS Office are also advantageous. • Required: Associate degree or apprenticeship plus 5–7 years heavy‑duty machining maintenance experience. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; flexible for off‑shift and on‑call duties. • Preferred: Advanced expertise with HELLER CNC, Siemens 840 DCNC, MTM washers, Knoll coolant systems, TPM, SAP, and fluency in German and English.

We are offering a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for the CNC Machine Maintenance Technician – Off Shift position at Rolls‑Royce in Graniteville, SC. The role works the off‑shift schedule from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday night through Thursday morning, with a shift premium and overtime eligibility. Initial training will be provided on the first shift.
