About the Role

The Roadway Engineer I role focuses on learning core engineering practices, contributing to project tasks, and supporting the team in delivering high‑quality solutions on time. This position is part of the Critical Infrastructure team, which plans, designs, builds, and modernizes transportation facilities. Key responsibilities include preparing roadway layout, maintenance of traffic, quantity estimates, calculations, and drawings for highways, expressways, and arterial roads using DOT or local jurisdiction criteria. The engineer will develop 3‑D corridor models in GEOPAK or OpenRoads, produce engineering reports and contract documents, and manage the timely completion of multiple tasks. Effective communication with internal design groups, clients, subconsultants, and government agencies is essential, as is presenting design solutions in internal and external meetings. What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field and have at least three years of relevant experience.
