Payroll Analyst
Process and ensure accurate payroll for diverse staff using ADP and Workday.

About the Role
• Process on‑cycle and off‑cycle payrolls using ADP and Workday, ensuring timeliness and legal compliance. • Manage complex payroll tasks such as voids, reversals, terminations, retroactive adjustments, and replacement checks. • Prepare, validate and transmit direct‑deposit files and payroll bank settlements securely. • Review and correct timecard exceptions and discrepancies before payroll run. • Collaborate with HR, Benefits and Finance to resolve payroll issues and maintain data integrity. • Process and reconcile union payroll components, including dispatch slips, pay‑rate validations, dues deductions and benefit remittances. • Generate and distribute compliance and tax reports, including state filings and Occupational Privilege Tax. • Stay current on federal, state and local payroll regulations and implement necessary system or process updates. • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in payroll operations. • Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and timely responses.

What You Bring
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Payroll Analyst to join our team onsite in New Jersey. The full‑time position is based in our Edison, NJ office and will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance and timeliness for a diverse employee population. • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). • 2–3 years of in‑house payroll experience handling on‑cycle, off‑cycle and special runs. • Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Workday Payroll systems. • Familiarity with union payroll structures and collective bargaining agreement compliance. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation). • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for cross‑department collaboration. • Proven reliability, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
