About the Role

The FAB Machine Operator performs technical fabrication operations on raw materials using metal processing machinery in the Fabrication Department. The role involves setting up and operating PLC, analog, or manual machines, interpreting work orders and drawings, and ensuring product quality through inspection. The operator also maintains tools, completes paperwork, and reports issues to maintain continuous production. • Observe safety and hygiene regulations • Receive work assignments from supervisor • Set up PLC, analog, or manual machines for operation • Operate machinery to fabricate parts • Interpret work orders, Kanban cards, and drawings • Complete required paperwork and system transactions • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for uninterrupted production • Inspect finished components against specifications • Perform operator-level maintenance on equipment • Report abnormalities and submit maintenance work orders • Execute additional tasks assigned by management

What You Bring

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to read measurement tools such as calipers, protractors, and tape measures, lift 35 pounds to waist, shoulder, and overhead, and work without direct supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications is required, along with the ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility, with an exemption for active‑duty military personnel, and demonstrate a record of safe work habits and good attendance. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED • Experience reading calipers, protractors, and tape measures • Able to lift 35 lb to waist, shoulder, and overhead • Demonstrate safe work habits and reliable attendance • Work independently without direct supervision • Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet applications • Reside within 50 mi of Arden, NC (active‑duty military exempt)
