About the Role

The Service Repair Business Development Manager role primarily drives sales and market share by acquiring new customers, converting prospects, and retaining existing accounts. The manager identifies and scopes opportunities for OEM and general HVAC projects, provides solutions directly to end customers, and supports regional business units with sales support, market strategies, product offerings, and technical assistance. The goal is to grow the business through organic expansion and new sales opportunities. As a customer‑focused Sales Business Development Manager, you will evaluate new business opportunities, qualify leads with local operations teams, and build professional relationships with customers and industry stakeholders. You will deliver solution sales, including service‑repair packages and system upgrades, and collaborate with regional service teams and other departments to pursue opportunities across all verticals. You will also help develop marketing plans, present to prospective customers, and support strategic plans to meet new‑business targets while reporting on progress. • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand the customer base and service offerings. • Collaborate with local operations and regional service teams to qualify leads and develop opportunities. • Build professional relationships with new and existing customers and key industry stakeholders. • Provide solution sales, including service‑repair packages and system upgrades. • Assist in developing marketing plans and deliver presentations to prospective customers. • Support strategic plans and prepare regular reports on business development progress.

What You Bring

The position requires an HVAC trade qualification and five to ten years of HVAC industry experience, with demonstrated success in aftermarket parts and repair sales. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential for building relationships with internal and external customers, as are the abilities to cross‑sell, upsell, and proactively sell preventive repair or upgrade packages. Proficiency in Microsoft‑based software, self‑motivation, multitasking, goal orientation, and excellent time‑management and organizational skills are also required. • HVAC trade qualification with 5–10 years of industry experience. • Proven track record in aftermarket parts and repair sales. • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Ability to cross‑sell, upsell, and sell preventative repair/upgrade packages. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office in a technical environment. • Self‑motivated multitasker with strong time‑management and goal orientation.
