About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician II drives Lean Manufacturing culture, facilitates systematic problem solving, and leads root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action processes across all organization levels. They support the implementation of efficient Lean processes, lead Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S workshops, and engage plant management and employees in continuous‑improvement projects. The role also installs, tests, and commissions capital equipment, provides technical training, creates and maintains manufacturing routings, and performs cycle‑time and time‑study analyses. • Drive Lean Manufacturing culture and continuous improvement across the organization. • Lead root‑cause analysis, corrective‑action processes, and Kaizen/Six Sigma/5S workshops. • Install, test, and commission capital equipment per design requirements. • Provide technical and cross‑training to process leaders, mechanics, and operators. • Create and maintain manufacturing routings; conduct cycle‑time and time‑study analyses. • Work in an office setting with periodic lab/factory visits; lift up to 50 lb and handle physical demands.

What You Bring
Candidates need an Associate’s degree or two‑year engineering technical school education. A minimum of three to five years of industrial operations or manufacturing experience is required, with electrical, mechanical, or machinist background preferred. Lean Six Sigma training, a refrigerant handling license, and supervisory training are considered pluses. The position is primarily office‑based with periodic visits to the test lab and manufacturing facility, exposing the employee to seasonal temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fumes. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, stooping, and prolonged standing, sitting, or walking.
