About the Role
The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the engineering team in turning innovative designs into reality, handling prototyping, testing, data collection, and cross‑functional coordination. This is a 12‑week, full‑time internship located at Firestorm’s headquarters in San Diego, CA.

What You Bring
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, or a related field • Must have U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen or permanent resident) to meet ITAR requirements • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and can coordinate across multiple teams and projects • Communicates effectively and collaborates in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment • Has experience in project coordination or support • Able to operate in an iterative, rapid‑development setting • Holds a technical background in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering (preferred) • Possesses hands‑on experience with lab equipment, prototyping, or assembly work (a plus) • Familiarity with DoD or aerospace sector (preferred)

Interns work on‑site at the San Diego headquarters with flexible hours as needed, and receive an hourly wage estimated between $28 and $32, dependent on experience and other factors.
