About the Role
The position involves both pre-design and design engineering work. Candidates will coordinate and verify as-built drawings, conduct field investigations, set up multidisciplinary drawings and models, and collaborate with team members on design coordination, schedules, and deliverables. They will also perform feasibility studies, prepare schematic designs, develop reports, select equipment, size solar systems, and conduct power analyses. Design responsibilities include creating single-line diagrams, load schedules, lighting selections and controls, and normal, emergency, and renewable power system designs. Engineers will conduct Arc Flash, Short-Circuit, and Coordination studies using ETAP or SKM, and perform energy calculations with EnergyPro or IES VE while working closely with cross-functional project teams. • Verify as-built drawings and conduct field investigations. • Set up multidisciplinary drawings and models for design coordination. • Perform feasibility studies and prepare schematic designs. • Develop electrical design reports, equipment selections, solar sizing, and power analyses. • Create single-line diagrams, load schedules, lighting selections, and control systems. • Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems. • Conduct Arc Flash, Short-Circuit, and Coordination studies using ETAP or SKM. • Perform energy calculations with EnergyPro or IES VE. • Collaborate daily with cross-functional project teams. • Utilize family-friendly programs including new-parent leave, family-building benefits, and childcare resources.
