About the Role
Main responsibilities: Assist in designing Telepower systems such as solar and hybrid‑solar. Support the design and construction team to manage end‑to‑end projects, including material forecasting, detailed quoting, and engineering solutions, while monitoring progress against timelines. Regularly consult with construction crews and supervisors to optimise design outcomes and improve processes. Liaise with suppliers on products, specifications, and delivery schedules, and coordinate with clients to meet design and project goals. • Design solar and hybrid‑solar Telepower systems • Forecast materials, prepare detailed quotes, and deliver engineering solutions for projects • Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met • Consult with construction crews and supervisors to optimise designs • Liaise with suppliers and clients on product specifications and delivery schedules • Apply strong electrical theory knowledge and attention to detail • Utilize Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office Suite for project documentation • Adhere to ISO 9001, OH&S, and environmental regulations

What You Bring
About You: The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical theory and may come from backgrounds such as electrical technician, recent graduate, or seasoned engineer. You are a self‑motivator with a keen eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, organisation, and time‑management skills. Practical experience in field technician roles or exposure to telecommunications, maintenance, or construction is highly regarded. Proficiency with Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of ISO 9001, OH&S and environmental legislation, a current driver’s licence, and willingness to work away from home are required. Experience developing solar and battery designs for the commercial market and knowledge of LV/HV AC systems is highly desirable. • Travel across Queensland using a 4WD pool car and work off‑site as needed
