About the Role
The Construction Laborer assists craft workers with physical labor on job sites, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment while supporting overall project goals. The role encompasses a wide range of hands‑on construction activities, from site preparation and material handling to finishing work, while maintaining tool upkeep and assisting the crew as needed. • Promote and follow company safety policies and complete required safety documentation. • Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery for loading and unloading. • Level earth to fine grade specifications using hand tools. • Mix and pour concrete or grout with a portable mixer. • Position, join, align, and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts. • Apply paints or bituminous compounds to protect surfaces. • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun. • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel with abrasive tools or machines. • Perform hand and tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, demolition, cleanup, and jackhammer operation. • Provide site assistance as needed and maintain assigned tools. • Perform physical labor on construction sites and travel to different jobsites on short notice.

What You Bring
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED plus six to twelve months of construction experience, or an equivalent mix of training and experience. The candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, basic math proficiency, and the ability to read and follow technical documents and instructions. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel, or screed.

Benefits
Pay ranges from $27.00 to $30.50 per hour, dependent on experience, with regular performance reviews and merit increases.
