About the Role
Reporting to the President of the Americas, the Vice President of Corporate Development leads the AMER Corporate Development team, overseeing deal activities for regional strategy, M&A, real estate, and strategic investments, partnering cross‑functionally to execute M&A, real‑estate projects and capital planning. The VP drives revenue and AFFO growth for the Americas through M&A, capex budgeting, metro‑strategy, data‑center development, and strategic planning to achieve regional OKRs. • Lead annual strategic planning process and approve executive‑level business cases. • Partner with GTM and functional leaders to translate enterprise strategy into roadmaps and initiatives. • Create storyboards and present key initiatives to senior leaders. • Analyze market extension opportunities and develop new services or business models. • Set direction for data‑center development pipeline and manage regional capex budget. • Define metro real‑estate strategies and prioritize data‑center plans. • Oversee regional real‑estate location strategy and secure board approval for capital expansions. • Establish and execute M&A strategy, source and evaluate acquisition opportunities, and lead negotiations. • Represent deals to senior executives and the board for approval. • Lead a diverse, inclusive team and foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

What You Bring
• Significant experience in general management, investment banking, corporate development or consulting. • Proven M&A track record across deal sizes from <$10M to >$500M. • Knowledge of retail data‑center business globally. • Ability to think strategically long‑term while delivering short‑term results. • Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills with senior executives. • Inspirational leadership, inclusive culture building, and motivational vision sharing. • Proactive, collaborative mindset in a non‑hierarchical environment.

Benefits
Compensation is a target base salary of $272k‑$408k for the Redwood City office, with additional variable pay, equity and benefits, determined by role, level, location and individual factors.
