About the Role

The Maintenance Technician at 7100 Loft is responsible for supporting residents and delivering a high‑quality move‑in experience, resident satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention. This role is central to providing superior customer service and upholding the company's commitment to its residents. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments by painting, repairing carpet, cleaning, and handling general repairs; responding promptly and professionally to resident requests; performing routine maintenance such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal when needed; and maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. The technician also reports maintenance concerns, follows scheduled tasks, participates in on‑call emergency response, and adheres to safety procedures and uniform standards. • Prepare make‑ready units: paint, repair carpet, clean, and perform minor repairs. • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and snow removal. • Maintain common‑area amenities such as grounds, pools, hot tubs, and dog park. • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergencies. • Follow all safety procedures and company uniform standards.

What You Bring

Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification, and the ability to read technical manuals, compute measurements, solve routine problems, and write reports. The position demands a high school diploma, GED, or vocational training, with at least one year of related maintenance experience. The role operates in a professional office environment while regularly traveling between properties and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical demands involve standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and traveling up to 10 % of the time. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification. • Minimum 1 year of related maintenance experience; high school diploma or vocational training required. • Ability to read technical manuals, compute measurements, and write routine reports. • Travel between properties up to 10 % of the time and lift/move up to 100 lb.

Benefits
