About the Role

The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes and performs all duties as scheduled by the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Operate vehicle according to OSHA, DOT, and company standards; keep it clean and safe. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR and report any issues. • Report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend required trainings, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow route assignments. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and correctly replace lids and position containers. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Check in and complete all documentation at the end of the route. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

What You Bring

Shift: start time between 5:00 am–6:45 am, Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturdays. Preferred candidates have prior experience in physically demanding roles. The role may require a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative for travel to federal property. WM drivers are recognized for professionalism, safety, and community service, staying home at night and on weekends while receiving competitive pay and benefits. • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (minimum age 18). • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug test, physical exam, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
