About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and by installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays and other equipment, creating and closing work orders while tracking labor hours, parts and inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining positive relationships across the facility. • Promote safety by following all procedures. • Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment. • Create, assign, and close work orders while tracking labor hours, parts, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians and foster positive workplace relationships.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience, and one year each of blueprint/electrical schematic reading and knowledge of electrical principles. Additional required skills include experience with a CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, familiarity with OEM safety standards, and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. Physical demands involve lifting up to 50 lb, reaching overhead, kneeling, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and wearing required PPE. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years MHE repair experience. • Experience in predictive maintenance, blueprint reading, and CMMS usage. • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical field and robotics experience. • Ability to lift 50 lb, work at heights, and use required PPE.
