About the Role
Job Summary: Safely operate a heavy‑duty commercial truck on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial, and construction environments. Drivers must operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while keeping the truck clean and safe. Pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections are required, and any safety concerns or service issues must be reported immediately to the Route Manager or Dispatch. Participation in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings is mandatory, and drivers work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. They also handle customer requests, fully dump and clean containers, position them properly, complete customer tickets for excess yardage, and finalize all documentation at the end of each route. • Operate the vehicle according to OSHA, DOT, and company standards, keeping it clean and safe. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections and document any issues. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, or service calls immediately to the Route Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow assigned duties. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and ensure containers are properly positioned and lids replaced. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow route assignments and finalize documentation at the end of each route.

What You Bring
Qualifications: Required – at least two years of experience operating a CDL‑class B vehicle or equivalent recent military driving experience, minimum age of 18, and legal eligibility to work in the country. Preferred – a high school diploma or GED. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing while performing the job. A REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative is required for any travel by air or access to federal property associated with this position. • Walking • Lifting • Handling

The hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $33.00, depending on experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
