About the Role

The Maintenance Technician at The Manor Homes of Eagle Glen supports resident satisfaction by ensuring quality move‑ins, timely service, and personal attention. The role is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents and representing Cushman & Wakefield professionally. Core duties include preparing make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs), responding promptly to resident requests, and performing routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as needed. The technician also maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities, and may be on call for after‑hour emergencies. • Prepare make‑ready apartments: paint, repair carpet, clean, and perform general repairs. • Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. • Maintain and clean grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergency responses. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing regulations and company safety procedures. • Read technical manuals, compute basic math, and write routine reports.

What You Bring

The position operates in a professional office setting while regularly traveling between properties and working in varied weather conditions. Physical demands involve standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 100 lb, with up to 10 % travel time. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and EPA 608 certification (minimum Type II and CPO or local equivalent). The technician must understand fair‑housing laws, safety procedures, and be able to read technical documents and perform basic calculations. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II & CPO certification (or local equivalent). • Travel between properties up to 10 % of the time in varying weather conditions.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $15.73 to $18.50 per hour, with eligibility for health, vision, dental, retirement, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off.
