About the Role
The Calibration Specialist inspects, maintains, and repairs instruments and equipment to ensure they are calibrated correctly and provide accurate measurements at customer testing labs. In addition to servicing equipment, the specialist builds strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and support throughout the year. • Perform full service on customer equipment efficiently and professionally. • Communicate professionally with co‑workers, manufacturers, and customers regarding assigned jobs. • Assist customers with troubleshooting and maintenance outside assigned jobs. • Assist customers with equipment procurement outside assigned jobs. • Complete supervised and independent training on calibration and quality procedures. • Occasionally work weekends per customer demands. • Provide strong interpersonal and customer service. • Utilize resources to identify and solve unforeseen problems. • Stand and walk for prolonged periods. • Drive many hours between sites.

What You Bring
Successful candidates demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills, and effective time‑management to meet deadlines. They must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, travel up to 90% of the time, and occasionally work weekends based on customer needs. The role involves prolonged periods of standing and walking, extensive driving between sites, and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
