About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager and assisting the Director of Talent Acquisition, the specialist drives recruiting, onboarding, and culture initiatives. They ensure every new hire feels supported, welcomed, and set up for long‑term success, acting as the heartbeat of the hiring process. • Source, screen, and hire talent for technical and support roles. • Post jobs, manage applicant flow, and maintain talent pipelines. • Build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and trade schools. • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and scheduling. • Track recruiting KPIs and drive performance results. • Facilitate Walk‑In Wednesday interview events. • Ensure timely hiring manager feedback and conduct confirmation calls. • Manage pre‑employment letters, checks, and follow‑ups. • Conduct pre‑start calls to verify new‑hire documentation. • Deliver organized onboarding process and Day 1 orientation. • Prepare paperwork, background checks, and onboarding packets. • Coordinate IT, Operations, and leadership for setups and training. • Act as culture ambassador to create a best‑in‑class new‑hire experience.
