About the Role
Key duties include providing in‑depth technical expertise for engineering analysis, managing engineering issues, performing tasks using general engineering principles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design criteria and codes, conducting independent research, and recommending equipment or technique improvements. Travel of 10‑50 % of the time may be required. • Provide in‑depth technical expertise for engineering analysis, activities, and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct consultation. • Manage engineering issues from task initiation to completion. • Perform engineering tasks applying general engineering principles. • Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and configuration management of plans and specifications. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for regulatory/technical projects. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and comply with codes.

What You Bring
The role performs advanced technical and engineering problem solving to support nuclear plant operations, making technical decisions and applying deep knowledge of functional disciplines, industry codes, and regulations. The position requires expertise in applying functional discipline knowledge to practical plant challenges. The minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline with five years of industry experience (or three years within Constellation Reactor Services), or an equivalent combination of education and experience such as a senior reactor operator license, an associate degree with relevant apprenticeship, or a high school diploma with extensive industry experience. Candidates must meet access and medical requirements appropriate to the role. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer certification, advanced technical degrees or coursework, design engineering experience, fuel handling expertise, lifting and rigging qualifications, master rigger status, work planning and procedure revision experience, supervisory experience, and P6 scheduling proficiency. These credentials enhance the candidate’s ability to lead complex projects and ensure regulatory compliance. • Travel 10‑50 % of the time, including visits to other Constellation Clean Energy Centers. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5 years industry experience (or equivalent experience/licensure). • Alternative qualifications: senior reactor operator license, associate degree with apprenticeship, or high school diploma with extensive experience. • Must satisfy access and medical requirements for the position. • Preferred: Professional Engineer license, advanced degree, design engineering, fuel handling, lifting/rigging, master rigger, work planning, procedure revision, supervisory experience, and P6 scheduling.
