About the Role
Key responsibilities include creating analytical tables from supplier quotations, ERP/SAP data, and internal databases to feed deterministic and AI cost estimation models. Interns will develop machine‑learning and advanced statistical models, build bottom‑up parametric models, and integrate AI layers that utilize these calculations. Working with both structured and unstructured data, they will apply manufacturing knowledge to address missing process steps and explore neural‑network approaches for cost estimation using CAD geometry or 2D drawings. What You Bring
Ideal candidates are pursuing a PhD in Data Science/ML or hold a master’s/graduate degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering. They should possess strong SQL, Python, and ETL skills, and experience with scikit‑learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, and hyper‑parameter tuning. Knowledge of neural networks, CAD tools, manufacturing processes, and internal combustion engines, along with excellent English communication, is required. • Pursuing PhD in Data Science/ML or graduate in mechanical/industrial engineering. • Proficient in SQL, Python, ETL; experienced with scikit‑learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, hyper‑parameter tuning. • Knowledge of neural networks, CAD tools, manufacturing processes, and internal combustion engines. • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
