About the Role

The position may be assigned to a project team or serve as lead engineer on small to intermediate‑size projects, delivering engineering products that meet customer quality requirements and providing technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers. • Provide structural engineering support for design and construction oversight of DoD office, support, and data‑center facilities. • Analyze technical issues, develop scopes of work, and conduct design, submittal, and RFI reviews. • Perform field inspections and produce technical papers, reports, and detailed calculations. • Prepare engineering deliverables such as drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, and proposal evaluations. • Define project scope, budget, and schedule, and lead technical direction for small to intermediate‑size projects. • Offer guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers on project tasks.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a highly talented Structural Engineer to provide design and construction oversight for facilities projects supporting a prominent Department of Defense customer. The role involves structural engineering support for the design, construction, and renovation of office buildings, data centers, and related infrastructure on an existing DoD campus. Candidates must hold a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, a Utah Professional Engineer license, and at least five years of experience in design and construction review of office, support, and data‑center facilities. Required skills include strong communication, analytical ability, proficiency with the MS Office suite, and the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Desired attributes include excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. This role is part of our Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources to U.S. government customers across defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental domains. • Maintain active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (or be willing to obtain) and U.S. citizenship. • Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, multitasking, and organizational abilities, with proficiency in MS Office.
