About the Role

The Roadway Engineer position offers training and mentorship under supervision, providing exposure to company standards and exciting projects. The role involves utilizing engineering theories and practices to develop designs for expressway, limited-access, arterial, and local road facilities. • Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations, and drawings using DOT or local criteria. • Develop 3D roadway models with Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK or OpenRoads. • Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review. • Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers, applying technical discretion to first revisions. • Serve as Engineer‑of‑Record on assigned engineering tasks when required. • Manage timely completion of multiple project tasks. • Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, clients, subconsultants, and government agencies. • Present design solutions in internal meetings and contribute to external presentations. • Update personal resume and participate in company marketing campaigns. • Complete timesheets and expense reports promptly. • Pursue personal career development through feedback, skill acquisition, and goal setting. • Mentor and model positive behaviors for other team members. • Maintain Professional Engineer (PE) registration.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, at least three years of relevant experience, and Professional Engineer (PE) registration. No security clearance is required, and the salary range for the position is $62,300 to $109,000. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience.
