Staff Environmental Scientist / Geologist / Engineer
Entry-level environmental consulting role supporting assessments, remediation, and field work.

About the Role
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. • Maintain accurate project documentation and data management. • Conduct fieldwork, including sampling (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, air), monitoring, and inspections, in accordance with written plans and procedures. • Support remediation planning and implementation activities. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives. • Prepare work plans, technical reports, proposals, and health & safety plans. • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure resources for and oversee fieldwork. • Perform storm water inspections and sampling for construction, industrial, and municipal sites. • Assist in conducting environmental site assessments and investigations.

What You Bring
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification • Experience with AutoCAD or GIS • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical and motor vehicle records check. • 0-3 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or related areas. • Knowledge of California environmental regulations and permitting processes • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, including current annual refresher • Ability to learn through on-the-job experience and retain knowledge for progressive development. • Must have ability to lift 25 pounds. • Willingness to travel for fieldwork and project assignments (up to approximately 50% local travel). • Valid driver’s license required. • Experience with data analysis and reporting • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with environmental sampling procedures
