About the Role

In this role you will perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, and respond to warranty calls. You will provide customers with the highest level of service, acting as a trusted advisor to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items. You will load system‑level controller software, conduct basic commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices, and keep management and the JCI contractor or customer informed of progress. Tasks also include calibrating systems with electronic test equipment, completing required documentation, handling administrative duties such as timesheets and expense reports, and following all safety standards. • Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools. • Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues. • Respond to warranty calls and deliver high-level customer service. • Load controller software, run diagnostics, and document commissioning. • Calibrate systems with electronic test equipment while maintaining safety standards. • Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation. • Recommend efficiency solutions, generate quotes, and identify upselling opportunities.

What You Bring

The position requires a vocational school, four‑year program, or associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field, plus three years of industry experience servicing electronic or mechanical HVAC systems. Required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation. Effective interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with PC experience and the ability to program HVAC‑related software. • Require vocational/associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, or related field plus 3+ years HVAC experience. • Knowledge of HVAC control systems, facilities management, and peripheral equipment installation. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent Johnson Controls professionally. • Ability to program HVAC software and use PC tools.
