About the Role

• Produce geospatial and all-source intelligence and analytic products • Assist in data acquisition, geospatial layer management, and quality control of GIS datasets • Perform metadata tagging, source verification, and initial processing of geospatial research inputs • Support dashboard updates, map production, and research documentation efforts • Produce and curate country and regional pages in EDA • Develop and apply AI/ML, data quality, enrichment, stewardship, and research processes • Steward data using NIST, DoD, and IC regulations, policies, and best practices

What You Bring

NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting Junior-Level Geospatial Research Analysts. Strong capabilities in applying geospatial analytics and all-source intelligence methodologies, theories, and frameworks are required. The Junior-Level Geospatial Research Analyst will be based remotely supporting US Southern Command. US citizenship and the ability to pass a basic background check for access to US military bases is required; a clearance is not required but a Secret or TS/SCI clearance is preferred. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. Some positions may require obtaining a security clearance, which only U.S. citizens are eligible for, and applicants may be subject to a government security investigation. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or two years equivalent experience creating geospatial analytic products • Experience performing geospatial or all-source analysis, research, and production • Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems and data steward tools, catalogs, and processes • Understand analytic requirements and manage complex project tasks • Possess Esri GIS certifications and skills in Python, R, JSON, HTML/XML, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, OSINT, and all-source intelligence methodology • Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish • Experience with government IT programs and environments • Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred
