About the Role
We are currently seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform service work and site maintenance for national accounts. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems on customer sites, ensuring customer satisfaction, and handling related paperwork and logistics. • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Diagnose and repair units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications. • Identify, analyze, and repair HVAC systems and products at customer locations. • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. • Prepare for on‑site installations by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work. • Inspect vehicle condition and cleanliness. • Maintain vehicle service records, schedule repairs, and complete maintenance. • Inspect equipment for wear, report findings to customers or the Operations Manager. • Document work by completing job paperwork, including daily time, progress, duration, and maintaining files. • Serve as the direct customer contact, representing the company. • Determine and order parts needed for repairs in a timely manner. • Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources. • Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly. • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair information. • Read and interpret product specifications. • Provide technical support to customers. • Travel regularly, including occasional overnight trips.
