About the Role

The Operations Leader will oversee our continuously operating omnichannel distribution center in Jackson, TN, leading a team of experienced operations leaders and employees to deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers. Reporting to the Site Director of the Central Distribution Center and working alongside the Optimization Leader, the role requires cross‑functional collaboration, including alignment with manufacturing operations. This is a 24/7 operation with a Friday‑Monday overnight shift. • Create and implement service strategies supporting company goals. • Lead and develop 4‑6 salaried and hourly leaders across outbound distribution functions. • Manage budget, coordinate projects, and drive improvement activities. • Participate in safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement projects. • Foster cross‑department collaboration within the facility. • Monitor KPIs and devise innovative solutions to recurring issues. • Ensure SOP compliance with policy. • Maintain and improve customer service standards, control mis‑shipments and backorders. • Plan, manage, and maximize all inventory functions. • Partner with HR to attract, retain, and engage a qualified workforce.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate safety leadership and champion 5S and continuous improvement. • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in distribution/fulfillment (or equivalent). • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Experience managing people leaders. • Knowledge of warehouse inventory management, auditing, slotting, and optimization. • 5S and Six Sigma experience preferred. • Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and lead large teams. • Data‑driven change agent creating winning strategies. • Strong coaching skills for direct and indirect reports. • Track record of implementing projects with urgency and delivering results. • 2nd shift hours 5 pm‑2 am, flexible to work all shifts as needed. • Ability to sit, stand, walk long distances, lift up to 50 lb, and work on uneven surfaces. • Must learn to operate standard warehouse equipment (forklift, PIT, hand jacks).
