About the Role
The Service HVAC Technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing performance issues through observation, refrigeration testing, and setup; reading wiring diagrams and service manuals; documenting work in the company service software on an iPad; communicating effectively with customers and the office; managing time and follow‑ups; and adhering to safety protocols. • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment. • Diagnose HVAC performance using observation, refrigeration testing, and setup procedures. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals. • Document service activities promptly using company software on an iPad. • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff to ensure satisfaction. • Manage time, follow‑ups, and accountability for assigned work. • Follow all safety protocols on job sites. • Explain work performed to management and customers clearly.

What You Bring
Candidates must have 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, be able to follow a scope, pass a drug screen, possess a valid driver’s license with a good record, and hold an EPA license. They should be proficient with gauges, meters, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools, and be capable of explaining work to management and customers. The role requires driving for company tasks and a background check. • Possess 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC experience and an EPA license. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; pass drug screening and background checks. • Use gauges, meters, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools proficiently.
