About the Role
The Area Sales Manager is accountable for sales performance and margin improvement across an assigned region, building a best‑in‑class sales team and working closely with the division’s operating team to achieve timely goals. • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to meet performance targets. • Support the Director of Sales and Marketing with sales initiatives and goal implementation. • Guide New Home Consultants on sales techniques and coordinate timely closings. • Track escrow, prepare accurate sales reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. • Review paperwork, liaise with escrow companies and lenders, and attend promotional events and sales meetings.

What You Bring
The position requires regular on‑site presence, the ability to work more than eight hours in construction trailers, and physical capability to handle equipment, climb ladders, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. • Minimum 5 years of residential sales, management, or real‑estate experience. • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto‑insurance coverage. • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to handle confrontational situations. • Physical ability to work >8 hours in construction settings, lift 50 lb+, read plans, and operate basic construction equipment.
