About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical General Laborer to join our team in Hurlburt Field, FL. The role involves physical labor on construction sites using hand and power tools, assisting other craft workers, and cleaning and preparing sites, including removal of rubble and non‑hazardous waste. • Perform physical labor on construction sites using hand and power tools. • Assist craft workers, clean and prepare sites, and remove rubble and non‑hazardous waste. • Operate power construction equipment safely according to RQ’s safety standards. • Receive on‑the‑job training and certifications for equipment and safety as needed.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum education. One or more years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction is required, with government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Forklift certification and logistics/warehouse/residential experience are a plus. CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred, and additional training such as forklift/man‑lift, fall protection, scissor lift/boom lift, and OSHA 10‑hour is desired. The laborer may also operate various power construction equipment while following appropriate safety practices that support RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Values. RQ Construction provides on‑the‑job training and certifications as needed, and prevailing wages are paid for work on a military installation. Pay Range: $18.00‑$25.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and one week of vacation and sick time. • Earn prevailing wages for work performed on a military installation. • Compensation: $18‑$25 per hour with medical, dental, vision, 401k match, and 1 week vacation/sick time.
