About the Role

The role involves carrying out routine and ad‑hoc cleaning, planned maintenance, monitoring cleaning standards, maintaining school energy systems, and providing support to other sites as required, with flexible coverage for short‑notice absences. • Perform routine and ad‑hoc janitorial duties for all contracted schools. • Carry out planned cleaning maintenance within agreed timescales. • Monitor cleaning staff to ensure standards meet contract conditions. • Maintain safe and efficient operation of school energy systems. • Provide support to other sites as directed by the Facilities Manager. • Offer flexible coverage at short notice for leave and absences. • Maintain awareness of COSHH regulations.

Successful candidates will demonstrate awareness of health and safety, COSHH regulations, and be able to pass a PVG/Disclosure check.
