About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for operating a forklift, handling trailers, picking stock for delivery, and maintaining organized storage areas both in the backyard and inside the building. You will also conduct daily forklift inspections, manage recycling duties, keep work areas clean and safe, and support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives such as 5S, visual management tools, and Kaizen events. • Operate forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies, and finished goods • Load and unload trailers as needed • Pick and pull stock for delivery • Organize pallet area and material storage locations in backyard and building regularly • Perform daily forklift inspection • Manage recycling duties, including operating the cardboard baler • Work overtime on short notice to meet customer requirements • Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly • Keep work areas clean and safe • Support Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives, maintaining 5S • Track visual management tools such as layered audits and OEE boards • Participate in Kaizen events and improvements • Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with little notice • Stand continuously during shift and lift 35 lb regularly (occasionally more with assistance)

What You Bring
The position requires at least six months of forklift or material‑handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with little notice. Candidates must be able to stand continuously, lift 35 lb regularly, communicate effectively in English, and wear required personal protective equipment. • Have at least 6–12 months of forklift or material handling experience in manufacturing or logistics • Possess a valid driver’s license • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
