Job Highlights
About the Role
The field technician performs standard penetrometer testing operations, maintains equipment, and ensures safety on job sites. They collaborate with project managers and supervisors to report project-specific issues, complete paperwork, and support field operations. • Perform penetrometer testing, including borings and geoprobes. • Locate and mark borehole sites in the field. • Record drilling data and complete time sheets and field paperwork accurately. • Report project issues to the project manager or supervisor. • Maintain drill rigs and support trucks; report maintenance needs. • Follow company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment. • Load drill rigs and support vehicles daily with required supplies. • Clean and care for assigned vehicles and drilling equipment. • Uphold professional behavior and quality standards. • Work out‑of‑town and on non‑standard schedules as required.

What You Bring
