About the Role
The role focuses on repairing and maintaining diesel-powered equipment while ensuring strict health-and-safety compliance and a clean, organised work environment to keep customer operations uninterrupted. • Service, maintain and repair diesel‑powered pumps, generators and related equipment in both depot and field locations. • Inspect and prepare equipment at the depot to confirm operational readiness before deployment. • Perform major overhauls and refurbishments on end‑of‑life units. • Diagnose faults and execute repairs to minimise equipment downtime. • Collaborate with the service team, hire controller and foreman to ensure smooth operations. • Adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations and company policies at all times. • Maintain a clean, organised work environment and ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards. • Travel to customer sites and participate in an on‑call rotation.

What You Bring
• Mechanical experience with plant equipment such as pumps, generators or diesel engines. • NVQ Level 3, M&E apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. • Full UK driving licence.
