About the Role
Shape Something Different – join our Buildings Structures group as an Intermediate BIM Modeler in our Ottawa/Queensview office. You will contribute to community‑shaping projects across commercial, residential, rail, transportation, and energy sectors, elevating your craft while delivering work that has local, national, and global impact. You will shape and implement BIM strategies aligned with client expectations, lifecycle requirements, and delivery objectives. You will create and manage detailed 3D structural models in Revit and AutoCAD for concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures, and extract high‑quality 2D drawings, schedules, and details for construction documentation. You will support clash detection workflows, collaborate closely with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams, develop project‑specific BIM standards, templates, and families, and mentor junior team members to elevate BIM capability across the practice. • Implement BIM strategies that meet client expectations and project lifecycle requirements. • Create detailed 3D structural models in Revit and AutoCAD for concrete, steel, masonry, and timber. • Produce accurate 2D drawings, schedules, and details for construction documentation. • Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues with architectural and MEP teams. • Collaborate with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to innovate design solutions. • Develop and maintain project‑specific BIM standards, templates, and families. • Mentor junior BIM staff and promote BIM capability across regional and national practice.

What You Bring
We are looking for deep experience delivering BIM on complex building and infrastructure projects, ideally in Property & Buildings environments. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, hands‑on experience with BIM execution plans and standards compliance, and strong skills in clash detection, model coordination, and 3D visualization are essential. You must be able to guide BIM designers across multi‑office, matrixed teams, thrive in evolving project environments, and hold an eligible Canadian Federal Government Enhanced Reliability Clearance. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) is a core value; all employees must comply with WSP and client HSE policies. Safety‑sensitive positions require the ability to perform key physical tasks in varied environmental conditions. • Demonstrate deep BIM experience on complex building/infrastructure projects, especially in Property & Buildings. • Hold advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and BIM execution plan development. • Possess an eligible Canadian Federal Government Enhanced Reliability Clearance.

Compensation varies by region: AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500; MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200; NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 – $92,900. The final salary may be adjusted based on education, qualifications, experience, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
