About the Role
Mortenson is seeking a Surveyor to perform survey and mapping of construction measurements and advise team members throughout all stages of a construction project. The role includes direct surveys and layout support. • Set up and operate Trimble GPS equipment, including base station, SCS 900 software, GCS 900, and laser level • Care for, clean, and use surveying tools and equipment • Perform basic surveying computations and plan reading • Take survey notes and document existing site conditions • Guide new construction work through layout and verify structure locations • Build and maintain effective relationships with diverse individuals at all organizational levels • Operate equipment such as Base Station, SCS 900, GCS 900, and laser level • Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb (assistance for over 50 lb)
