About the Role

Provide leadership, management, and supervision for planning, layout, and execution of structural steel erection and fabrication, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Coordinate the efforts of all craft persons, allocate resources for safe, correct, and efficient work, and collaborate with other foremen to keep the schedule flowing and work properly sequenced. • Maintain positive working relationships with other foremen and crews. • Keep the work environment safe, clean, and ensure high‑quality output. • Participate in safety, quality, production, and planning meetings. • Conduct performance evaluations and agreements for all crew members. • Champion a continuous‑improvement culture among the crew. • Ensure accuracy of timesheets, quantity, and productivity reports. • Develop weekly and daily work plans; monitor the 6‑week schedule and critical path. • Set weekly production goals and deliver work on time and under budget. • Follow all company policies, procedures, and “The Sundt Way.” • Provide coaching and mentorship to help crew members excel. • Demonstrate leadership, safety, quality, and productivity standards.

What You Bring

The position is safety‑sensitive, requiring adherence to rigorous safety standards, extensive physical work, and the consistent use of personal protective equipment. • Minimum four years’ experience in the relevant construction market with deep trade knowledge. • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills. • Physical demands: up to 12‑hour shifts, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and use of PPE.
