About the Role
The Client Service Manager (CSM) for Water clients in Phoenix, AZ will work in a hybrid model—three days in the office—to serve as the bridge between municipal clients, the community, and GHD’s technical teams. The role involves building client relationships, leading a client‑engagement team, and advancing public‑infrastructure projects. • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, including city governments, utilities, and public agencies. • Act as the voice of the client within GHD, ensuring priorities and challenges are understood and addressed. • Lead and mentor a Client Engagement Team to deliver innovative, tailored solutions for municipal needs. • Create and execute annual growth plans for municipal accounts with a 3‑5‑year strategic horizon. • Monitor trends in public spending, regulatory changes, and infrastructure investments to identify opportunities. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in water, transportation, and urban development sectors while maintaining an active project pipeline. • Represent GHD at municipal meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote the organization’s brand and capabilities. • Oversee implementation and maintenance of the CRM system, improving data quality and customer relationship management. • Serve as subject‑matter expert on technology, policy, regulation, or operational management and maintain relevant external accreditations. • Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for complex accounts, ensuring two‑way communication and issue resolution.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field, with a professional engineer license preferred. Ten or more years of client‑service or municipal relationship management, strong communication and negotiation skills, CRM (Salesforce) proficiency, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams are required.
