About the Role

The Technical Sales Manager at BASX drives sales growth and market expansion within an assigned geographic territory, managing relationships with manufacturer representatives, distributors, and key customers to promote BASX’s datacenter products and solutions. The role develops and executes regional sales strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue targets are met, while representing the BASX brand to commercial and industrial clients. The manager leads all sales activities in the territory, including business development, account management, and channel support, requiring a strong understanding of datacenter cooling systems, market dynamics, and customer needs. Primary duties include developing and implementing regional sales strategies, managing and supporting manufacturer representatives and distribution partners, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, coaching representative leaders, providing technical product support and training, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, collaborating with internal teams, preparing forecasts and presentations, representing BASX at trade shows and events, and owning the customer experience to resolve issues promptly. • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets. • Manage and support manufacturer representatives and distribution partners. • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence for BASX datacenter solutions. • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and decision‑makers. • Coach representative leaders to strengthen their businesses and results. • Provide technical product support and training to sales partners and customers. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback. • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, customer care, and AAON sales leaders. • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior leadership. • Represent BASX at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings. • Own the customer experience, addressing concerns and ensuring positive outcomes. • Analyze sales data to develop actionable strategies.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced technical/business degree preferred. Candidates should have proven B2B sales experience, preferably in datacenter cooling, HVAC, or industrial equipment, strong HVAC knowledge, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, the ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies, proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office, and a willingness to travel extensively within the region. The role demands the ability to travel up to 50–75% of the time, visual and auditory acuity for presentations and customer interactions, and mental focus for planning, analysis, and decision‑making. Essential mental functions include effective written and spoken communication, strong interpersonal skills, sound decision‑making, analytical problem‑solving, multitasking, organization, teamwork, and performance in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
