About the Role
Key responsibilities include leading daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules, quality standards, and on‑time delivery while ensuring a safe, compliant work environment aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations. The manager establishes, monitors, and improves KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) and drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, waste elimination, standardized work, and continuous improvement activities. Maintaining and enhancing quality systems to support product conformance and customer satisfaction is essential, as is developing and managing operational budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and resource allocation while approving expenditures for efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Aiken, SC facility. This role is responsible for operational performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, as well as personnel development, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a disciplined approach to manufacturing processes, and a commitment to operational excellence. Required skills and experience include a strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, proven results in leading teams in a fast‑paced environment, excellent communication and training abilities, and expertise in problem solving, facilitation, and root‑cause analysis. A bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
