• Support all phases of utility construction for telecom projects • Dig trenches, unload materials, and prepare job sites using hand tools • Work on outdoor utility construction sites • Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site daily • Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems • Troubleshoot field problems as they arise • Learn and train on various tools and equipment • Prioritize daily safety practices

The Skilled Laborer/Groundman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, working outdoors on both aerial and underground cable systems. The role involves manual tasks, equipment transport, and on‑site problem solving, with opportunities to learn and operate a variety of tools and equipment. Successful candidates prioritize safety, consistently produce high‑quality work, and enjoy hands‑on problem solving. A valid Class A CDL with a clean record is required, along with a desire to grow in telecom construction trades such as coax and fiber splicing.
