What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler II for its Power division. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will oversee all planning and scheduling activities and interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The position is based at Mortenson’s corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, with relocation required for candidates not already in the area. Visa sponsorship is not provided; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Mortenson is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusive hiring practices. • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field • Minimum of two years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience • Experience as a project engineer is desirable • Experience in electrical projects or substation is desirable • Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software • Basic knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing, project management, contracts, and buyout • Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving problems • Basic plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skills • Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions • Active listening skills and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback • Ability to travel may be required based on operating group

The role offers a base salary ranging from $87,200 to $117,700, with higher ranges for certain locations, and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
