About the Role
The Sales Supervisor supports the Sales Manager or General Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating sales activities for an assigned division, aiming to maximize volume, drive profitable growth, and develop the sales team. The role may also manage specific accounts, prospect new clients, and retain existing customers. Key duties include providing individualized sales coaching, conducting team training sessions, and participating in ride‑alongs and customer meetings to improve results. The Supervisor assists field leadership with business strategy execution, oversees hiring, training, and performance management of sales staff, and ensures pricing initiatives meet budgeted metrics. Additional responsibilities involve new customer solicitation, bid preparation, CRM management, proactive account contact, market trend monitoring, and comprehensive reporting.
