About the Role

Key responsibilities include operating project‑controls software to develop work‑breakdown structures, uploading financial data from SAP, and producing monthly cost‑report packages. The role also involves reviewing contractor progress and invoices, maintaining change logs, updating cash‑flow forecasts, and conducting final accounting, post‑contract audits and lessons‑learned reviews. SOX control compliance may be required where applicable. • Establish and manage cost reporting schedule; prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to clients. • Review project budgets, spend forecasts, and maintain a commercial risk register; host periodic meetings with project teams and vendors. • Control payments by assessing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements, and evaluating change order requests. • Manage invoicing process and benchmark performance against similar commissions. • Conduct final accounting, post‑contract audits, and close‑out activities; produce lesson‑learned documents and training manuals. • Operate project controls software (e.g., Contruent, Prism, Ecosys) to develop WBS, upload SAP financial data, and update forecasts. • Generate monthly cost report packages and maintain project cash‑flow in the client portfolio system. • Review contractor progress submissions and invoices for alignment with approved forecasts and budgets. • Maintain project change logs and provide related reporting. • Collaborate with design and construction teams to develop cost estimates. • Ensure compliance with SOX controls where applicable.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant cost‑management experience in construction. RICS or AACEi accreditation is preferred, and strong knowledge of project controls, earned value management, cost estimating and contract administration is essential. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with SAP and project‑controls tools such as Contruent, Prism or Ecosys are highly desirable. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field. • Possess at least 2 years of cost‑management experience in construction, preferably on medium‑ or large‑scale projects. • RICS or AACEi accreditation (or working toward) is preferred. • Demonstrate knowledge of project controls, earned value management, cost estimating, capital program planning, contract administration, risk and schedule management. • Strong communication skills. • Experience with SAP reporting and project controls tools (Contruent, Prism, Ecosys) is highly desirable.

Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, adjusted for education, experience, location and role.
